Mr Nick de Roeck FRCS(Tr+Orth)
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Specialist in Hip & Knee Surgery
I have been a Consultant since 2007. I practice privately at Pinehill, One Hatfield and Spire Harpenden hospitals. My NHS practice is at East and North NHS trust.
I graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester. I completed my surgical training on the Royal National Orthopaedic rotation in 2005. I undertook a specialist fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery in Auckland, New Zealand in 2006.
My practice involves the treatment of patients with hip and knee problems ranging from sports injury to arthritis. I can use my experience to help you make a personalised treatment choice, whether operative or non-operative. My operative expertise encompasses modern arthroscopic (key hole) techniques through to complex joint replacement surgery.
I am very experienced in hip and knee replacement. Using this experience I aim to enhance your initial recovery after surgery coupled with achieving a successful long term outcome.
I have a specialist interest in complex hip problems and undertake procedures such as revision total hip replacement and hip arthroscopy.
